Cursor Settings

This section explains the steps to integrate Genjo with the Cursor agent (Composer).

Setup Procedure​

You can easily integrate it from the Cursor settings screen.

1. Open Settings Screen​

  1. Open Cursor.
  2. Click the Gear icon (Settings) at the top right of the screen, or press the shortcut key Cmd + , (Mac) / Ctrl + , (Windows) to open the settings.

2. Open MCP Settings​

  1. Select Features from the left menu of the settings screen.
  2. Scroll down and find the MCP Servers item.

3. Add Server​

  1. Click the + Add New MCP Server button.

  2. Enter the following information.

    • Name: genjo
    • Type: command (Stay as default)
    • Command: npx -y genjo-mcp-server

  3. After entering, click the Add button to save.

It is successful if the green lamp lights up and "Connected" is displayed!

Check How to Use​

Open Composer (Cmd + I / Ctrl + I), make sure it's in Agent mode, and try talking to it.

"Tell me the latest AI news." "What movements have been there about OpenAI this week?"

If Cursor automatically starts looking for information using Genjo's tools, it's a success!

Uninstall Instructions (Removal Method)​

  1. Open Cursor settings.
  2. Open Features > MCP Servers.
  3. Click the delete button (trash can icon) next to genjo to delete it.
